All Over Again
Chapter Four

Two Days Later...
Dallas, Texas

Nora sat in the reception area of James Watson's offices. She had dropped Matthew off with her parents in Chicago the day before and had arrived in Dallas late the previous evening. She had contacted James and he had suggested they meet sometime the next day.

A buzzing sound brought Nora back to the present and she watched carefully as the receptionist picked up her phone and spoke into it for a moment. Then, she stood up and walked over to Nora.

"Ms. Buchanan, Mr. Watson will see you now."

"Thank you." Nora replied before gathering her briefcase and following the receptionist into James Watson's office. She looked around and had to admit she was impressed. She had expected to find cow skulls, rawhide, and lariat ropes. Instead the room was filled with Mahogany bookshelves lining the walls, wood floors, burgandy leather couches, and a stately mahogany desk.

Behind the desk stood a tall, dark-blonde haired man with blue eyes, and a deep tan. He walked around the edge of the desk and held his hand out to Nora. She took it lightly and smiled at him. "Hello Mr. Watson."

James returned her smile brilliantly, appreciating the vision before him. "Please call me James, Ms. Buchanan."

He offered her a chair and Nora took it. "If I'm going to call you James I insist you call me Nora."

James sat down behind the desk and shook his head. "Very well Nora, where should we start?"

"First, I just want to tell you that I plan on letting this be your case. I'm just here to report back to Asa."

"You and Mr. Buchanan are related?"

Nora smiled sadly. "It's a long story. Let's just say we have known each other almost a decade and we've come to have a mutual understanding that we trust each other... sort of."

James laughed. "Well, you've certainly intrigued me. Maybe I can get the whole story sometime not during business hours."

"We'll see but maybe now we should discuss the case."

"Right, the case. I've hired a private investigator to help out with the case that I know will do a good job. We are meeting later tonight for dinner to discuss the case. You are welcome to join us."

Nora smiled again. "That would be nice."

"Well, we're meeting in this little dive for burgers and beer but if you'd rather I can change the plans to somewhere a little more civilized."

"Actually James, burgers and beer sound really good right about now."

James stood and led her to the door of his office. "Is 7 o'clock ok? Do you need a ride?"

"Seven is fine and I have a driver. See you there?"

"Very well. See you then Nora." James closed the door behind her and then walked over to his desk and picked up the phone. He dialed a number and waited for an answer. "Bo, James. Listen, I invited the attorney that our client sent to oversee everything to dinner with us tonight. Seven, ok? All right see you then."

6:45 PM
O'Niels Bar and Grille

Bo walked into the familiar bar that had become a hangout of sorts for him since he had moved to Denton. He took a booth in the back near the jukebox and suddenly realized how much it reminded him of Rhodi's.

Nora would love this place. Great burgers, good beer, and plenty of oldies on the juke. Bo shook his head and sighed. He never remembered thinking of Nora there before and something about it seemed odd. He looked up at the door expecting to see her walk in the door.

A minute later when he was still staring at the door and noone had entered Bo laughed quietly to himself. Nora wasn't going to walk in the bar. How could she? She was in Llanview with Matthew and Sam.

Bo pulled out a file and started glancing over it while waiting for James and the other attorney show up for dinner.

6:55 PM
Outside O'Niels Bar and Grille

Nora's car pulled up outside the bar and it immediately struck her that this place was very much like Rhodi's. Before she could think anymore her driver opened her door and helped her out of the car. She told him she would call him on his cell phone when she was ready to be picked up.

The driver left her then and she walked into the bar. She smiled as she looked around the place realizing she had needed to get away from it all. Suddenly though, her smile faded and her breath caught in her throat.

She took a few more steps into the bar and looked at the man sitting in the booth at the back of the room. She had to squint due to the dimmed lights and the smoky haze but she was certain it was him. After all these months there was Bo. She took a deep breath and walked over to his table not saying a word.

Bo noticed someone walk up to his table but was so engrossed his file that he didn't even look up. "Get me a bacon cheeseburger, a chili dog, and a beer. Whatever you have on tap will be fine."

"Well, it's good to see somethings will never change."

Bo's head shot up and he blinked his eyes. "Nora?"

Nora smiled slightly. "Hi Bo, long time no see."
