BABY MAKES THREE - PART 7
Last time....Bo confronted Sam about the card.
Bo comes back to the house after his run in with Sam. Nora is upstairs with Matthew, trying to get him to sleep. Bo peers into the nursery and Nora is rocking Matthew in his bassinet and singing softly to him. Bo just looks at them both. Thinking how lucky he is. How perfect his life is.
Bo walks up to Nora and places his hand on her shoulder. He startles her.
B (whispering): Sorry Red, I thought you heard me come in.
N: No I didn't it. You scared me.
B: How is he?
N: He's been great all day. Finally he's going to get some sleep. Let's go.
They leave the nursery and go downstairs.
B: Nora, I went to see Sam.
N: Oh Bo, you didn't. Over that stupid card?
B: It wasn't a mistake. I could tell by his face. Nora, the guy is delusional about you.
N: Is that a compliment? (She asks with a sly laugh)
B: This isn't funny. I don't trust him. I don't want him near this house, you, or the baby.
Nora walks up to Bo and puts her arms around him.
B: You are not going to sweet talk me out of how I feel about this.
N: Can I try?
B: You can try, but it's not going to work. I'm serious.
N: You are serious aren't you? Bo, it was a mistake. Sam is just a friend. He's harmless.
B: He's sneaky. He gets this look in his eyes when he's around you.
N: Why haven't you said anything before?
B: Because I knew he was your friend. I know you count on his professional advice. After what we went through with him at the lodge, I didn't want to be the jealous husband.
Nora starts to give him little kisses all along his neck. She leads him to the couch.
N: Bo, let's not talk about Sam. You are getting all worked up over nothing, when you should be getting worked up over me. Now's your chance - while Matthew is sleeping.
Bo kisses her back - passionately. He needs her. They need each other. He decides to let Nora "sweet talk" him out of thinking about Sam and he's going to bask in every glorious minute he can while the baby is sleeping.
