Conspiracy part 6
Bo decided it would be best if he set up a room for him self in
the attic of Nora’s house. Nora brought him a laptop computer
and all the files from her disappearance and subsequent return,
so he could go over it with a fine tooth comb and try to find
a common thread between his imprisonment and Nora’s. She
spent endless hours giving him all the details she could remember
about her captivity. How it was Colin that admitted to holding
her against her will. How evil Bo allowed her to make the stupid
decision to let Colin walk free in exchange for Will’s freedom.
How some how Asa was twisted into the mess with Will. Bo knew
he could have worked out a deal for Will AND got a conviction
for Colin. Some kind of sixth sense was telling Bo to keep a watchful
eye on Nora around Colin. Something about Colin was not right.
Bo had never met him, but intuition told him better. Nora had
set up Matthew’s old baby monitor in the living room, inconspicuously,
and Bo had the receiver up in the attic. He could monitor the
house, but he could hear the answering machine. On this particular
day, he was quite annoyed that Colin had called six times leaving
various message of how he missed her, how he needed to see her
and how they had to talk about some important things in their
lives. Bo heard the front door open.
Rachel: I’m home! I know you hear me! I’m alone!
Bo: (hollering down from the attic) You ok?
Rachel: Yes! Mom and Matthew not home yet?
Bo: Not yet…Matthew was in that
sportsman challenge. I told her to take lots of pictures!
Wish I could go see him…
Rachel: (making her way upstairs) I know. Soon enough…You got any ideas yet?
Bo: (making his way downstairs) No…but that pain Colin keeps calling. Rach, call me nuts, but I think he’s involved. I can’t be sure, but…
Rachel: I don’t know Bo. He seems on the up and up. I mean, I know what he did to mom was wrong, but he did take good care of her. And he really seems to care for her. I don’t think he would hurt her like that. Not after everything she went through.(pause) especially after how your evil twin treats her.
Bo: Really that bad?
Rachel: Bo, he’s a monster. He flaunts that blond tramp in mom’s face…mauling her like a rabid dog…breaks mom’s heart…
Bo: Broke her heart…I’m here to mend it (he smile a comforting grin)
Rachel: She’s so happy Bo. She loves you so much. When she came back…and that thing was so cold to her…treated her like a criminal…like she had some kind of contagious disease…when she wanted to hug him…he’d get this look on his face like he couldn’t believe he had to touch her…I really hate him. I am so glad it isn’t you, cuz it hurt to hate you. It hurt me and I know it killed mom. You know it’s true…she did change her name back to Hanen. I told her if he was going to be such a scum to her…she should just cut all ties to you…um…him
Bo:(smiles) That’s ok honey…it’ll take some time.
Rachel: I told her to get rid of the Buchanan nightmare.
Bo: You know I want her to have it back…and Matthew too.
Rachel: I wouldn’t expect anything less!
Just then the doorbell rings. Bo heads back up into the attic and closes the ceiling door.
Bo:(yells to Rachel) Make sure the monitor is on!
Rachel rushes past the monitor, it’s on. She goes to the door and opens it.
Rachel: Colin!
Colin: Hey cutie! Your mom home?
Rachel: Nah. She had a thing at school with Matthew. She should be home soon.
The phone rings. Rachel’s friend Morgan is at the mall and needs her to come up there. Her car won’t start.
Rachel: Ummm…that was my friend…her car is dead at the mall. Do you want to wait for mom? I mean…I know you’ve done that before…
Colin: Yeah…I’ll just go play that cool game on the computer in her office…that one with the hot babes!
Rachel: Colin…you’re a trip!
Rachel leaves and Colin begins to look around Nora’s house, talking to himself.
Colin: So…my dear Scarlett…let’s see if you have any secrets you’re keeping from me…
Bo is listening to Colin through the monitor. He hears him ruffling through Nora’s desk…
Colin: Hmmm. Nothing. Well my dear sweet Nora…
He makes his way upstairs into Nora’s bedroom. He starts to look through her dresser drawers. He finds a few insignificant items. He walks over to the closet and looks around…nothing out of the ordinary…then he spies a few items of clothing. Men’s clothing. Jeans. Flannel shirts. Sweatshirts. Nora walks in to the bedroom.
Nora: Colin?
Colin: Hey Scarlett!
Nora: Why are you in my bedroom?
Colin: I was (walking towards her) waiting for you. (he takes her around the waist and pulls her into a long kiss)
Nora: Colin! What are you doing?…We
are not about this!

Lindsey and Melanie are having lunch at the cafeteria at Llanview General.
Lindsey: So…you really want a big wedding? I mean…it’s not like you’re the innocent child bride anymore…
Melanie: Bo wants me to be happy….he said I can have anything I want…I want everyone to know…without a doubt what Bo and I have is real. We are so happy.
Lindsey: (smiling coyly) Yes…you two are so perfect. I am happy for you Lanie…You were Bo’s perfect woman.
Melanie: I am glad you’ve made your peace with this situation. I know how hard it was for you to admit Bo fell in love with me. I wish you’d reconsider coming to our wedding.
Lindsey: I know. But it would still be so hard. I loved Bo with everything I had…I don’t know…
Melanie: Bo wants to move the wedding up. He says he can’t wait til I am Mrs. Bo Buchanan.
Lindsey: Now, how in the world can
you move a big grand wedding, like your planning, up?
Lanie, you’ve got all the deposits, all the plans, the caterer,
the florist, the invitations! You can’t just “move it
up” with out causing a major catastrophe!
Melanie: I never thought of that. (with a perplexed look on her face) But Bo says he wants to prove to Nora that he is mine all mine…maybe that way she’ll realize its really really over and leave him alone. Now I know what you meant when you said she runs to him for a hang nail!
Lindsey: I love this part! I told
you so!…(takes a sip of her drink) I just love when I am
right!
And I was! I told you she’s like a bad penny! Keeps turning
up!
Melanie: Anyway…I think I will forgo the big wedding…I want to be with him…as soon as possible. I think I will tell Bo tonight, I want us to be married as soon as we can.
Lindsey: Wow. That’s original…maybe you can wear the same dress you wore when you went to that rickety little chapel that you ran off to with Colin…
Melanie: Can’t you ever be happy for me?
Lindsey: Some how I am happy for you…deep
down inside I am happier for you than you ever could know!

Colin: Scarlett…I want us to be about this (he kisses her again)
He walks her backwards to the bed and forces her down. He lies next to her, almost on top of her. He has his hand over her mouth.
Colin: Scarlett, I want you so bad. Let me make love to you…
Nora: (she bites his hand and jumps up) NO!! Colin!! What has gotten into you!!
Colin: What??!!! I thought you wanted this. I thought you wanted to move forward. (he walks toward her again)
Nora: I do not want this!! Stay away from me Colin!
Colin: (continuing toward her) Come on…let’s make this relationship real. I can make you feel so good.
He grabs her around the waist and scoops her up, carrying her to the bed. Bo has been silently making his way down the attic steps and is almost outside the bedroom. Inside the room Colin has Nora on the bed and is forcibly kissing her. She is fighting him back.
Colin: Do not make this a bad thing Nora. This is a beautiful experience.
Nora: Rape is not beautiful (pushing Colin’s face away)
Colin: Scarlett! This is not rape! We want each other…I see it when you look at me…you make me so hot…come on…(he pulls at the buttons on her blouse)
Nora: No!! (fighting him) Colin stop!!!
Outside the door, Bo is teetering on the edge of busting into the room. He doesn’t want to rush in and blow his cover, yet he doesn’t want Nora hurt. She can fend pretty well for herself, but then again…
Colin: Don’t fight us Nora!
Nora: Colin!
Colin: Come on baby…I know you want me…
Nora: I don’t want you…
Colin: You want me…you want me for your own…I think I love you Nora
Nora: I don’t want you…I don’t love you…
Colin: Who do you love? Huh? That rotten good for nothing ex husband? Scarlett…he didn’t know what he had…(looking her up and down) I…(forcibly kissing her) know (pulling the blouse open) what I want…..
Bo hears the fabric of her blouse tearing and cannot take anymore. He bursts into the room.
Bo: Get the hell away from my wife….(shocked) YOU! You’re Colin?
Colin: Your wife? …(turning around) Bo?
Bo: (walking towards Colin and Nora)Yeah…I said my wife
Bo grabs Colin by the shirt and throws him off the bed. He follows him where he landed and proceeds to pummel him with in an inch of his life.
Bo: You (punch to the gut) bastard!! (punch to the jaw)
Bo turns and starts back toward Nora. Colin stands and takes a swing at Bo
Colin: You’re a broken old man! (punches Bo in the back)
Bo crumples to the ground, Colin kneels next to him with his hands at Bo’s throat…
Colin: I knew I should offed you, but no…Lindsey wanted to keep you like a pet. Well, now, I get my wish…say good night Bo, and I’m sure your ”wife” won’t turn me down when she knows her knight in shining armor fell off his horse and got trampled to death…
As he’s prepared to strangle Bo, the heavy brass lamp comes crashing down on his head. He falls to the side unconscious. Nora kneels next to Bo.
Nora: Bo…Bo!! Can you hear me? Bo?
Bo: I’m here Red…I’m here…
Nora: Oh, Bo…
Bo: Are you ok? (sitting up on the floor)
Nora: I’m fine.
Bo: Is he dead?
Nora: I hope so. (she checks) No….he’s still breathing.
Bo: Good. We need him….we’re almost home baby…
