Conspiracy part 7
It’s been six days since Colin’s attack of Nora. After
she knocked him out with the lamp, she and Bo got him up to the
attic and had him handcuffed to the support beam in the center
of the room. They also had his mouth taped shut. The only time
he was allowed to have the tape off is when they fed him, and
that was only when Bo was home alone with him. Due to the unexpected
turn the plan had taken, keeping Colin hostage, they had to let
Hank in on what was going on. Bo was not comfortable with Hank
jeopardizing himself and his position as DA, but Hank assured
them it would work out.
Nora was quite happy with the fact that Bo had know moved back into their bedroom and things between them were quickly returning to normal. Once this was all over, Nora was going to suggest they take a vacation together, so they could get away and be alone, out of this environment, and rediscover themselves. Little did she know, but Bo was secretly planning the same thing. But he was going to go one better; he was going to propose to her. But that would all have to stay on hold a bit longer. They had to figure out who it was pretending to be Bo. So far Colin was of no help. He wouldn’t talk, except to threaten to kill Bo and have his way with Nora. Even the restraints of handcuff didn’t stop his disgusting suggestions.
Bo, Hank and Nora were sitting around Nora’s kitchen when the doorbell rang. Bo high tailed it up to the bedroom as Nora went to answer the door.
Nora: Bo. What a surprise. What can I do for you?
Kristoff: Nora. I have a few questions to ask about your friend Colin McIver.
Nora: What about him?
Hank walks out of the kitchen.
Kristoff: Hank.
Hank: Bo.
The room was tense. It was getting harder to face this imposter. Nora held such contempt for this stranger who was impersonating her man, and Hank was having a hard time facing him with out choking the life out of him, whoever he was.
Kristoff: As I was saying, seems your friend hasn’t been seen or heard from in a few days. People are starting to worry about him. Have you heard from him?
Nora: Hhmmm. Last time I heard from him was last week…(thinking) he said he was going to check on something and he’d call me later.
Kristoff: Did he call?
Nora: Come to think of it, no, he didn’t.
Kristoff: This didn’t alarm you?
Nora: Should it?
Hank: Bo, has there been a missing persons report or something on him? I mean, it is strange that you would be so concerned with the where abouts of your ex’s new boyfriend…
Kristoff: Personally, I am not concerned. But others are. Well, sorry I bothered you Nora.
Nora: No bother.
Kristoff turns to leave. He turns back
Kristoff: Oh, by the way, Melanie and I have decided to move the wedding up to this weekend. You are both still invited to share our happiness…
Nora: Regretfully, I won’t be attending…
Kristoff: Can’t say I’m surprised…
Hank: I don’t know what you’re deal is man, but I think you better be going….
Kristoff: That is what my deal is…she’s an ex wife…you act as if you still owe her…not me.
Nora: Good-bye Bo.
Nora shuts the door behind him and leans against it. Bo comes down the stairs and takes her in his arms.
Bo: I am so sorry for you even having to hear those things. You know I would never talk to you (kissing her on the cheek then looks at Hank) or you, like that
Nora: I know sweetie. (patting his arm reassuringly from inside his hold) I just have such a headache. I hate even looking at him. And I hate even more having that thing locked in my attic!
Hank: I know you do babe. But if fake Bo is sniffing around, it’s got to mean they are starting to panic.
Bo: We’re flushing the rats out…just a bit more smoke and BAMM! We’ve got em’
Nora: I hope you two are right.

Lindsey is beside herself with worry
over Colin’s “disappearance”. She has Kristoff
at her throat and she has no one to turn to.
Melanie walks in while Lindsey is at her desk at the gallery…
Melanie: Lindsey? Are you all right? Bo said you’ve been very moody lately…
Lindsey: Ha! What does he know? You know, you two are perfect. Dumb and dumber.
Melanie: He cares about you and he’s concerned…
Lindsey: Tell him to keep his concern to himself.
Melanie: What’s wrong? I know you’re upset about my wedding this weekend…
Lindsey: You are unreal! That’s all you care about! Your stupid wedding! As usual, the whole wide world revolves around little Melanie!
Melanie: What does that mean?
Lindsey: Oh please! Get over yourself! If you haven’t noticed…Colin is missing!
Melanie: Missing? I am sure he is fine. He always used to get in his little moods and run off for awhile…
Lindsey: You don’t get it do you?
Melanie: Get what?
Lindsey: I am worried; scared to death! I love him!
Melanie: What?!! (horrified) Lindsey, no! Don’t tell me you’re involved with Colin…
Lindsey: More than involved…in love.
Melanie: How? How…could…you…(still shocked) what about Nora?
Lindsey snaps. She lunges at Melanie and knocks her to the ground. Totally caught off guard by the attack, Melanie falls and tries to curl in a heap, but Lindsey keeps pummeling her.
Lindsey: Why….is…it...always…about…Nora???? AARRGGHHH!!!
A regular catfight ensues with fists flailing and hair pulling and scratching, biting and clawing…the works. They rolls around the floor screaming and fighting until Kristoff walks in and pulls them apart
Kristoff: Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!!!!
Melanie (trying to regroup and straighten out her disheveled clothing) Oh God Bo! Thank you! She’s insane…
Lindsey: No…the rest of the free world is! All anyone cares about is Nora! How does Nora feel? What does Nora think? Why is Nora sad? I can’t take anymore of Nora! I shoulda killed her when I had the chance!!
Melanie: What?!!! What did you say????
Lindsey: Nothing.
Melanie: Its true! You did hold her hostage with Colin! You did give her that drug! Bo…you have to do something! She just admitted to a crime! Sh..sh..she just confessed!
Kristoff: Calm down, sweetheart..
Melanie: Bo! Arrest her!
Lindsey punches Melanie straight in the face, knocking her unconscious.
Kristoff: What the hell are you doing??
Lindsey: Oh can it Buchanan wanna be…she was getting hysterical. Take her home; tell her she was dreaming it all…
Kristoff: You’re insane!
Lindsey: I have bigger problems than my lack of sanity…Colin is missing…remember??
Kristoff: Yeah…I was going try to charm it outta Nora, but her ex was there.
Lindsey: Charm? Like she wants to be charmed by you? She changed her name…she finally got over you…well, got over Bo.
Kristoff: She’ll never get over
him. I just need to get her alone…I’ll find your idiot.
Soon as I marry this one (scooping a still unconscious Melanie
into his arms) we can finish this stupid charade.

A couple hours later at Nora’s place. Bo and Nora are in her room relaxing and talking about how their future will be once Bo is free to return to his life. Bo is lying on the bed and Nora is on the chair reading a magazine article.
Bo: Know what I want to do once this is over?
Nora: (Half listening) Um..what’s that?
Bo: I wanna get Clint and Pa and go
down to the ranch. And I wanna take my son with me.
That’s ok, right?
Nora: Sure….
Bo gets off the bed and quietly walks towards her…
Bo: I was figuring that Matthew would make a great practice target for my lassoing…
Nora: Mmm hmmm….
Bo:(yanking the magazine away and tossing on the floor) You haven’t heard a thing I’ve said! (he is inches from her face) Have you?
Nora: Some…
Bo: I am going to have to teach you a lesson! (he gives her a long kiss)
Nora: (pulls away slightly) Can’t wait for lesson two (throws her arms around his neck and returns his advances)
They get into a pretty heavy making out and petting session on the chair. It quickly moves to the floor, where Bo slips out of his shirt. Nora kisses his chest….
Nora: If I can’t have you…I am going to go crazy!
Bo: I am all yours…(kissing her deeply)
She unbuttons his jeans and moves her hand around his waist, just under the waistband of his boxers.
Bo: You are a tease…
Nora: You better believe it…(she slowly unzips his jeans and watches him as she does)
Bo: You’re killin’ me…
Nora: Oh…but anticipation is what makes it all the more worthwhile, my love (she gives him a devilish grin)
She tugs at the legs of the jeans and gets them down to his knees. She looks back up at him and sees he is more than ready…
Bo: I want you so bad…
Nora: Ssh…
She reaches up and puts a single finger over his lips. He kisses her finger as she starts to slowly trace hearts along his chest….stomach…along his sides, their eyes are locked on each other…she slides his jeans the rest of the way off and starts to move slowly back up his legs, tracing the little hearts. He lightly rubs her shoulders as she moves back up towards his face.
Bo: You have too many clothes still on (kissing her)
Nora: Ya think so?
Bo: I know so
He unbuttons the top few buttons on her blouse and nuzzles his face into her neck and shoulder. He takes a deep breath. He loves the way she always smells so beautiful…he starts to kiss her neck and slowly moves downward as he unbuttons more of the blouse…
Bo: Let’s see who’s the tease now…
He removes her blouse and is trying to work on the hooks on the back of her bra
Nora: Oh…Bo…
Just as he gets the last hook open the doorbell rings.
Bo: For the love of! (Throwing his hands up) What is with us! Every time, every single time I want to make love to you either a doorbell rings or a phone starts ringing…or someone is knocking on a door or bursting into a room!!
Nora: (Deep sigh) I’ll be back…It might be Renee with Matthew…
She throws on her robe and heads down the stairs. She opens the door.
Nora: Oh! (totally startled) Umm… Bo! You’re back…what do you want?
Kristoff: I’ve come to apologize…I’ve made a horrible mistake…
He takes her around the waist and kisses her….
