The Course of True Love Never Runs Smooth~Part 39   Chapter Thirty Nine:   The storm had gone as quickly as it came and their limo finally pulled up outside of Asa’s house. They were over an hour late but they never noticed. They were in their own little world, where they were the only ones who existed. They could hear the music coming from the terrace as they approached the front door. He was about to reach for the doorknob but turned and faced her instead. He just looked at her for a few minutes trying to find his words. She reached out and touched his cheek as a tear fell….   Wiping his tear away with her thumb, “What going on in that head of yours, huh?”   Pausing for another minute, “I have so many things I want to say to you right now but for some reason I can’t seem to find the words.”   “You don’t have to say anything at all, Bo. I can see it just by looking in your eyes.”   “No, I want to tell you what’s in my heart.”   “You already said it all during the wedding.”   “There’s so much more I want to say. (pauses for a moment; taking her face in his hands) I wanted to tell you that without you in my life for the past five years I’ve been living my own version of hell on earth. When we were back at the house after the wedding and it was just the two of us and I was holding you in my arms I realized that they day we found each other again was the day I began living again and I just wanted to let you know, before we went in there and were surrounded by our family, that I’ll never take this second chance and this love we’ve found again for granted. I love you so much Nora, more than I ever thought possible, and well I just wanted you to know that.”   Bringing her hands up and intertwining them with his, as they rest on her cheek, “I’ve also been living in my own version of hell, going from one relationship to another, trying to find that “spark” that “thing” that’s existed between us from the minute I spilled that club soda all over your suit until now. It was never there, not with Sam and not with Troy, it’s only existed when I’m in your arms. When we were dancing back at the house after the ceremony I had to remind myself to breath. Just being in your arms, on our wedding day, was filling me with so many emotions that I couldn’t breath. I love you too, Bo, and I fall in love with you a little more everyday, every time I look at Matthew or feel our daughter move inside of me. You’re my heart, Bo. Never forget that.”   He brought his lips down onto hers and kissed her; all the feelings they had for each other could be felt in that one kiss….   Their moment alone was broken when the front door to the mansion flew open and their little boy wrapped his arms around their legs….   “Yay!!!! You’re here…Now we can have cake!”   Bo picked up their son and put him up on his shoulders….   “Let’s go get some cake!!!”   They walked into the mansion together as a family. Asa bellowed about them being late; while other’s offered their congratulations…They spent the evening dancing with each other; their son; and their other guests….It was a wonderful evening and soon the number of guests were dwindling. Matthew fell asleep on the couch. Bo picked him up and together they took him upstairs to his room. Asa and Renee were going to watch him until the next morning when they all left for their honeymoon/first Buchanan family vacation. Renee has prepared the penthouse at the Palace for their wedding night. They kissed their son goodnight and said goodbye to their guests.   The Palace Hotel….   They walked into the hotel hand in hand. Bo walked up to the receptionist and picked up their room key. They entered the elevator and Bo pushed the button for the penthouse floor. Before the doors were even closed he wrapped his arms around her and backed her up against the wall of the elevator kissing her neck. She melted against him; running her hands across his chest…They door opened way too soon…   They exited the elevator and quickly walked to the penthouse door. Bo slipped the key card into the lock and swung the door open. He turned around and picked her up and carried her into the suite….   He set her down but never let her go….They stood there wrapped in each other’s arms for a few moments; neither one of them saying a word.
