The Cruise - Final Chapter
Last Time:
Bo and Nora hit the casino on the ship, where Bo won a dance
with Nora.
They shared a dance in Bo's cabin, where things started to warm-up.
Bo carried Nora to his bed.

Bo carried Nora to his bed where he put her down and they
stood at the edge of the bed. Nora pulled Bo's tie until it was
pulled free from his collar. Smiling, she tossed the tie to the
floor and proceeded to unbutton Bo's shirt. Bo's hands are just
resting on Nora's hips, their eyes never left one another.
Bo: (Pulling Nora to him until her breasts were pressed against
Bo's bare chest. The sensation taking them both by surprise) Oh,
Red. I've wanted this for so long.
Nora: (Reaching down to unfasten his pants and letting them fall
to the floor, tears beginning to form in her eyes) It seems like
only yesterday for me (laughing nervously) I guess that's one
good thing about not remembering the last two years.
Bo: (Placing his hands on her buttocks and pulling her to him)
I want you, Nora (Kissing her throat and shoulders, murmuring
between kisses) I love you, Red.
Nora: (Running her fingers through Bo's hair and holding his head
tightly against her, she pulled him down to the bed with her)
I love you, Bo.
Their love making went on for hours. It was amazing and left them both spent, but incredibly satisfied.
Nora: (Laying with her head on Bo's chest and drawing hearts
with her finger on Bo's abdomen) (Sleepily and sighing) That was
amazing Mr. Buchanan.
Bo: (Holding Nora tightly against his body) I have never felt
so complete and so in love. (Lifting Nora's chin to look him in
the eyes) Red, I don't ever want to be without you. (He kisses
her passionately).
Nora smiles and reaches over and pinches Bo on the arm.
Bo: Ouch! (Looking at her with a questioning smile, rubbing his
arm) Why did you do that?
Nora: (Smiling) I wanted to make sure I'm not dreaming.
Bo: Hey, aren't you suppose to pinch yourself, not me.
Nora laughs.
Bo grabs Nora and rolls over until she is under him.
Bo: (Smiling a devilish smile) I can think of another way to prove
you're not dreaming (laughing and rubbing his arm again) and it's
a lot less painful.
Bo begins kissing her passionately and she responds with
as much passion.
Nora: (Breathless and shaking her head in the pillow) I am dreaming,
I am dreaming.
Bo laughs and their lovemaking resumes. They both sleep the most
restful sleep they have had in years.
Day 4 of Cruise:
The sun is beginning to seep through the window and Nora
begins to stir as Bo kisses her neck and shoulders. She cradles
his head with her hands and raises it until he is looking in her
face.
Nora: (Playing with the hair at his temples) How would you like
to join me in the shower?
Bo: (With a mischievous grin) Now that sounds like a great way
to start the day.
Nora gets up out of bed and Bo admires her figure as she walks
to the bathroom.
Nora: (With a tempting smile as she goes into the bathroom) I'll
be warming up the water.
Bo: I'll be right there, Red. (He rolls out of bed and catches
his reflection in the mirror) (To himself) You stud! (He laughs
to himself as he heads to the bathroom door. He can hear the shower
water running and before he opens the door there is a pounding
at his cabin door. Looking annoyed he grabs a pair of boxers and
pulls them on. He walks to the door and jerks it open. The Captain
comes in his room before Bo can get a word in.
Captain: (Looking worried) Mr. Buchanan, I'm sorry for bothering
you this morning but I have not been able to find Nora all night.
Bo: (Lifting his hand to begin talking) Um...
Captain: (Pacing around his room, not noticing Nora's clothes
scattered about) I've checked everywhere (scratching his head
deep in thought) I hope nothing has happened to . . . (Seeing
that Bo is not getting concerned, the Captain becomes more angry.
Yelling) She's your ex-wife, you would think you would be the
least bit concerned!
Bo: (Beginning to speak again) Captain, I'm sure that Nora is
just fine.
Captain: (Still angry) Are you listening to me man! She's been
missing all night!
Before Bo can say another word the door to the bathroom
opens and out steps Nora wrapped very seductively in a towel.
Nora: (Initially not seeing the Captain) Hey handsome, I'm waiting...
(She notices a strange smirk on Bo's face and slowly turns to
find the Captain standing there with his mouth open. Totally taken
off-guard she just stands there holding the top of the towel)
Bo notices that the Captain's gaze is dropping and he quickly
walks over and grabs his shirt from last night and places it over
Nora's shoulders.
Captain: (Beginning to come to his senses and feeling very awkward)
I... Um... (Walking to the door and making a quick exit, looking
back briefly to still see Nora just staring at him) I'm glad you're
fine (Closing the door behind him.)
Bo has been standing there with the largest smile on his face
thinking to himself, "Loser!")
Nora finally brings her hands up to her face in total embarrassment.
Nora: (Muffled through her hands) Oh, Bo! I can't believe how
bad that was.
Bo: (Walking around to stand in front of her, he takes Nora's
wrists in his hand and he slowly pulls them away from her face)
(Smiling broadly) Now, that wasn't so bad, was it?
Nora: (Peaking over her fingers as he pulls them away) Please
tell me I didn't walk out in front of the Captain in a towel.
Bo: (Stilling smiling and looking down at Nora) Yep, Ms. Buchanan
you definitely did (He reaches over and pulls her close) Now,
how about that shower!
Nora: (Putting her face down on Bo's shoulder and banging it several
times) How am I going to explain that, Bo!!
Bo reaches down and pulls Nora's towel away, tossing it to the
floor.
Bo: (Pulling Nora to his body) You can worry about the good Captain
later. (Bending slightly he scoops Nora up into his arms) Right
now there's a shower calling our names.
Nora: (Grabing Bo around the neck and smiling) Lead on!
Later that morning as the ship was nearing the marine terminal:
Nora is walking around the ship trying to locate the Captain
and trying to figure out what to say to him. She finally spots
him standing alone by the ships railing.
Nora: (Walking up behind the Captain and placing her hand on the
back of his arm, quitely) John.
Captain: (Turning and trying to force a smile) Nora. How are you?
Nora: I think that's the question I should be asking you. I'm
sorry you walked in on . . .
Captain: (Holding up his hand to stop her, again trying to smile)
You don't need to apologize. If there's one thing I know it's
how much you and your ex-husband still feel about one another.
(Looking down) Honestly, I saw the connection between you two
the first time I saw you dancing. I don't know the history between
you both but I can state this as a fact; Your ex is a fool if
he ever let you walk away.
Nora: (Looking embarrassed) It's a long story.
Captain: (Shaking his head and holding her hand) Any intelligent
man would know how lucky he was to have you as a partner. I'm
just sorry he found you first.
Nora: (Smiling and kissing him on the cheek) Thank you for a wonderful
cruise.
The Captain watches Nora walk away and looks back to the shore
as the ship draws closer.
Captain: (Smiling to himself) Well, maybe next time.
Nora goes back to her cabin to pack her things. When she
walks into her room, Bo is sitting on Nora's bed with a rose in
his hand.
Bo: (Standing and walking to Nora handing her the rose) Red, will
you please come back to Llanview with me. I want us to keep building
on what started last night. (Touching Nora's face and wiping away
the tears that started to fall down her cheek) I love you so much
and I don't want the magic we started on this ship to ever end.
Nora: (Tears still streaming and holding the rose to her nose)
Oh, Bo. This has been a wonderful trip. It's given us the time
we needed to heal (touching his face and smiling) and I don't
want it to ever end.
Bo's smile grows and he grabs Nora and hugs her tightly. They
kiss passionately and they both realize that they are home.
An hour later:
Nora and Bo have gathered their bags and are departing the ship.
As they exit, they run into Colin with two women. Colin spots
them immediately and smiles longingly at Nora.
Colin: (Nodding toward Bo and talking to Nora) Well, Scarlet,
I guess you got everything you wanted on this cruise.
Nora: (Holding tightly to Bo's arm and hugging it, looking up
into Bo's face with a loving smile) I really did, Colin. (She
reaches into her pocket and pulls out the box that Colin gave
her) Thanks to you, all my dreams have come true (Ignoring Bo
and the other 2 women, Nora reaches over and gently kisses Colin
on the cheek) Thank you, Colin.
Colin: (Smiling) You're welcome, Scarlet. (Tipping his head) Maybe
I'll see you around (Nora again holds Bo's arm) Bye, Scarlet ((Looking
briefly at Bo as he turns) Commissioner.
Nora: Bye, Colin (Bo just glares at him)
As Bo and Nora exit the ship they see Kay standing on the dock
waving. They both return the wave and smile.
Nora: (Smiling to Kay) What brings you down here?
Kay: Asa called and asked me to meet you both. He and Renee went
on a little vacation of their own.
Bo: That Pa of mine is quite the romantic.
Nora: (Giving Bo a big kiss on the lips) Like Father, like Son.
Nora: (Smiling at Kay) I believe we owe you a BIG thank you for
suggesting the cruise.
Kay: (Smiling) All went well, then.
Bo: (Placing an arm around Nora) It was the best trip I have ever
taken.
Nora: (Smiling) Me, too. It was magical.
Kay: I'm so happy. You know, I couldn't have written a more perfect
ending myself if I had tried.
They all hug and walk to the car.
