This story takes place a year after Bo and Nora got married. The date is May 20, 1996.

"How are you feeling today, Nora?"

"A little better. Did you get my test result?" Nora asked nervously her doctor.

"Yes, I did".

"And...?" Nora waited to her answer, unsure if she was ready to hear the news.

"The test are positive, Nora" The doctor said gently.

The shock on Nora’s face was obvious, she didn’t except to hear this kind of news "Positive?" Nora could hardly talk, her shock strangled her `Are you sure?` she thought that maybe the doctor was wrong and would say differently.

"I’m sure, Nora".

"Oh my God" now her shock wasn’t the only thing that strangled her.. the tears that were built in her eyes strangled her too. "I.. I can’t believe it.. I’ve never thought that it would happen to me again.."

"Do you want to call Bo?" the doctor thought that maybe Bo would be able to help her..

"No, No... I need some time to think about that before I tell him" Nora said as she wiped her tears away from her checks.

A week later...

Bo was sitting on his chair and his legs were on the table. He tried to concentrate in his work but his mind kept wandering to the picture on his table. It was a picture of Nora.. she looked so beautiful, he thought to himself. He let his fingers to wander on Nora’s face "Oh, I love you so much, Red" he said out loud. He leant back in his chair and thought about their wedding. "It was one heck of a wedding" he smiled to the memories of that day. He took the picture in his hands and looked deeply into Nora’s eyes "I can’t believe it has been a whole year since we got married, Red" he smiled "One wonderful year".

Bo was so deep in his thought that he didn’t notice Hank stepping into his office.

"What’s up, buddy?" Hank asked and smiled when he saw Bo`s terrified look.

"God, Hank! You scared me to death!" Bo said as he straightened up in his chair.

"I’m really sorry" Hank said with a laugh. "So what are you doing? Aren’t you suppose to be working now?"

"Tomorrow will be our first anniversary" he answered with a huge smile on his face.

"Our first anniversary?!" Hand asked sarcastically.

"Ha ha ha.. I meant Nora’s and mine first anniversary" Bo said angrily to his friend.

"Oh... yours and Nora’s anniversary!" Hank enjoyed teasing him.

"You are so funny today, buddy".

"So.. did you plan something special for her?"

"I have something in mind.. I want it to be a special day for us.. it’s our first anniversary, you know.."

"I trust you to make sure it will be a perfect day for both of you" Hank smiled. Like he knew his friends they knew how to make every moment together very special.

Before Bo could notice, the evening has already come. When he arrived home he saw Nora’s car, he was glad to see that she was already at home.

Nora was sitting on the couch and watched TV, actually the TV was turned on, but her mind was busy in other thoughts so she didn’t really watch TV... or noticed that Bo arrived home.

Bo walked into the house and a big smile spread on his face when he saw the love of his life sitting on his favorite couch. He came behind her and kissed her neck.

"Oh God!" Nora screamed as she felt Bo's kiss. She turned back to look at the frightened Bo and hit him on his arms "Damn, Bo! You know I hate it when you surprise me like that! You scared me to dea..".

He climbed on the couch and kissed her passionately before she could finish her sentence "I’m sorry" he whispered to her "I love you, Red".

She gave him a quick kiss before she told him "I love you too, commish" and smiled.

After they caught up with each other’s day, ate pizza and watched old movie together they decided to call it off for the night and went to their bed. Nora was the first who fell asleep and Bo enjoyed the feeling of holding his wife in his arms and admired her beauty. A few hours later Bo began to awake Nora while he trailed a red rose on her face. Nora started to stir as she felt something on her skin and opened her eyes.

"Bo? What are you doing?" she asked half sleeping.

He kissed her on her lips where he trailed the rose a second before.

"Happy first anniversary, Red" he said gently and smiled.

"What?" she asked confusingly but smiling.

"Look at the watch, it’s 24:01 a.m. now, and that means that we are officially married a whole year now".

A big smile spread on her face "You are the craziest man I’ve ever known!".

He tightened his hold on her and kissed her "I’m (kiss) crazy (kiss) in (kiss) love (kiss) with (kiss) you (kiss)" he looked deeply into her eyes, "Nora Buchanan".

"I love you too, Buchanan"

She kissed him passionately and he was on top of her.. never stop kissing her, never let their passion to die.

The next morning Nora woke up first. This time she was the one who enjoyed being held in her husband arms. She couldn’t believe that a year ago she had the slightest doubt to marry this man. It has been the best year in her whole life. Being Mrs. Bo Buchanan was the greatest feeling in the world. While she leant her head on his chest and caressed it, Bo started to awake.

"Good morning, handsome" she gave him a quick kiss on his lips.

He stole a longer kiss from her "Good morning to you too, beautiful" he smiled.

"Last night was amazing, Bo" she smiled and Bo could see the sparkle in her eyes.

"I can’t wait to relive last night again, Red" he moved so he was on top of her and looked deeply into her eyes.

A few hours later Nora was at her office working, at least she tried to work but it was hard for her to concentrate after the night before. The knock on her door made her lose her focus.

"Yes?" she yelled.

The door opened and a young guy came in "Are you Nora Buchanan?" he asked.

"Well that’s how everyone calls me" she smiled.

The young man came out and a minute later he came back with a huge flowers garland "This is for you".

Nora gave him tip and he went. She sat on her chair and admired the flowers beauty.. she leant down and smelled them, then she searched for the card. When she found it she read it out loud..

"When a man loves a woman
Can’t keep his mind on nothing else
He’d change the world
For the good thing he found..."

"Thank you for giving me the best year in my life,
Forever yours,
Bo."

A tear fell down her check as she read the card. She held it tight to her chest and then called Bo.

"Buchanan".

"Thank you for giving me the best year in my life too" she said when she heard his voice. "The flowers are so beautiful, thank you" she continued.

"I’m glad you loved them.. and you’re welcome" he answered to his wife "I love you".

"So what do you have on mind for tonight?"

"I thought about a few dances, romance and lots of love"

"Sound good to me!" she smiled to the idea of being held by him again. "I’ll meet you at home?".

"Yep. Bye".

She hung up the phone and leant back in her chair. "Oh Bo.. is tonight will be a good time to tell you the news? I don’t want to ruin our night" she thought to herself when she remembered her last appointment with her doctor the week before.

It seemed like forever for both of them before the evening has finally come. They met together at home and were getting ready for their date. Nora chose a black dress with a low neckline and long cut on the legs. Bo was wearing a black tux.

Bo noticed how Nora tried to zip her dress without any success so he approached to her and stood behind her. He held her hands and moved them from the zipper.

"Let me help you" he whispered in her ear.

She moved her hands and let him to do the work. He caressed her bare back and trailed kisses on her back before zipping it. When the dress was zipped he kissed her shoulder up to her neck.

"Oh Bo.." she let out a gasp, enjoying his touch on her. He continued kissing her and then he turned her to him so she was facing him.. her lips were eager to meet his when he said "We’re going to be late" and he stepped back.

"You are so bad, Bo Buchanan!" she yelled as he left the room and went downstairs.

When they left their home a limo was waiting for them. They stopped at the park where some carriage stopped in front of them.
"Our ride is here" Bo pointed to the carriage and helped Nora to climb inside.

"I’m impressed, Buchanan, I’ve never imagined you are so romantic" she smiled and leant her head on his shoulder, never loose her hands from his.

"The evening has just begun" he winked to her and kissed her deeply.

The carriage stopped in the middle of the park and Bo went down. He held his hand out for Nora and helped her to come down too.

"Would you give me the honor to dance with your under the sunset?"

Nora smiled and nodded. She held him tightly and they danced to the sunset. "I love you so much, Bo" she whispered in his ear while she was leaning on his strong shoulder.

Their next stop was at the restaurant. Bo invited a quiet and isolated table. He poured them glasses of champagne and then he handed Nora her glass.

Picking his glass he said "For many more and happy anniversaries" he drank his champagne and noticed that Nora didn’t drink hers

"Why aren’t you drinking?" he asked confusingly.

"I.. I don’t want champagne, I’ll drink a glass of water"

"Are you kidding me? C’mon, honey, we don’t celebrate our first anniversary everyday.." he gave her the glass again.

"Bo.. I.." she stopped for a moment and took a big breath.

"Nora are you alright?" Bo asked worriedly.

"Bo.. it’s not that I don’t want to drink the champagne.. I just can’t...".

"You can’t? why?" Bo was totally confused now.

"Because.. Bo.. I’m.. I’m.." she couldn’t finish the sentence, she was afraid of his reaction, she didn’t want to ruin their night.

"You what?" he took her hand and held it tightly "C’mon, Red, you’re scaring me.. what happened?" he looked deeply into her eyes, nervously waiting for her answer though her look scared him.

"I’m pregnant, Bo."

"You’re what?" he was relieved to hear that she wasn’t sick but he was very surprised to hear her answer.

"I’m five weeks pregnant, Bo." she answered as the tears were built in her eyes.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes". She couldn’t stop the tears form falling down any longer.

"But why are you crying, Red? Is there something wrong?" Bo couldn’t understand why she was crying.

"No, the baby is fine" she wiped her tears.

"That’s wonderful! So why are you crying?"

"Do you realize what that means?" she asked gently.

"Sure!" he answered with a huge smile. He got up and kneeled in front of Nora "That means that we’re going to have a baby" he looked into her eyes.

"Are you happy? I thought you wouldn’t want..."

He stopped her "Are you nuts? You thought I wouldn’t want this baby?" he smiled. "Oh Nora.. you couldn’t give me a better anniversary gift than a baby".

"Are you serious, Bo?" she felt relieved to hear his answer.

"I love you Red" he put his hands on her belly and gently caressed it "And you have the proof right here, inside of you".

Nora took his hands and kissed them "I love you so much". Bo rose up a little and touched her lips "Happy anniversary, honey" and he kissed her deeply.

The End!!!
