I'VE GOT DREAMS TO REMEMBER....A SHORT FAN FIC

Setting: Rodi's

Bo is at a table at the back of the bar, having a few beers, listening to the jukebox, and watching the crowd dance.

A slow song comes on and as part of the crowd disperses, Bo notices Nora and Sam on the dance floor. He watches them.

"I've got dreams, dreams to remember. I've got dreams, dreams to remember."

"Honey I saw you there last night, another man's arms holding you tight, nobody knows what I feel inside, all I know I walked away and cried."

"I've got dreams, dreams to remember. I've got dreams, dreams to remember."

Nora is in Sam's arms. She felt like a night out and she convinced Sam to go dancing. He is no Bo when it comes to dancing, she thought to herself. They just sort of sway in place to the music. Whereas, in Bo's arms, he glided you across the dance floor, completely in time with the rhythm of the music and her body, his eyes and his mind focused solely on her....much like something else he was very good at. A warm smile lit up her face.

"I know you said he was just a friend, but I saw him kiss you again and again and again, these eyes of mine they don't fool me, why did he hold you so tenderly?"

"I've got dreams, dreams to remember. I've got dreams, dreams to remember."

Nora has no idea Bo is even there or that he is watching her.

Bo gets up and walks to the dance floor...he taps Sam on the shoulder.

Bo: May I cut in?

Sam is startled and dumbfounded, he had no idea Bo was there. He looks at Nora and from the look on her face, he doesn't protest.

Nora: Bo....

Bo pulls Nora to him and her body just slips into place against his.

Bo: Listen to the words Nora...he whispers.

"I still want you to stay. I still love you anyway. I don't want you to ever leave. Girl, you just satisfy me."

Nora feels as if she's in a dream. Bo's eyes never leaving hers. Her mind contemplating what the song is saying to her. This just feels so right. She is in heaven being in his arms again....just dancing. The crowd at Rodi's gathers around and watches them. Many of the patrons there are familiar with this couple famous for their dancing.

Sam watches their moves intently. This time his ears hear the song.

"I know he said he was just a friend, but I saw you kiss him again and again. These eyes of mine they don't fool me, why did he hold you so tenderly?"

"I've got dreams, dreams to remember. I've got dreams, dreams to remember."

Bo: Nora, we need to talk.

Nora: I'd like that very much.

Sam stands by helplessly as Bo takes Nora's hand and watches them as they leave Rodi's hand in hand.
