Alone - Part 1
Nora stood in shock. She was the one. She murdered Colin. The judge agreed with Hank and Bo. It had been self defense. But it didn't change the facts. She was a murderer!
Everything around her began to spiral. She let gravity take
it's course, and fell into the open arms of Bo.
She was drained physically and emotionally. "Please, Bo,
take me home" was all she could say.
Bo drove with the top off his jeep. The winds of freedom surrounded Nora, and blew through her hair. Nora looked over at Bo, who was looking at her. They both began to laugh out loud. She could not wait to get home with this man. He was her rock, and she needed to be with him.
Bo struggled with the door. He wanted to be inside, to be with this woman he adored. They were all over each other. Somehow, they made it up the stairs to the bedroom. The kisses and touches couldn't come fast enough, hard enough. Nora needed Bo. She needed him, all of him. He was the only person that could make her feel safe right now. All the stress and fear that had enveloped her needed to be released. Bo was the one that could give her life it's freedom once again. Their love making was savage, yet tender, and when it was over, Nora felt so safe, so warm, so loved.
Nora dozed, only to wake to the sound of Bo's voice coming from the shower. She could hear the water spraying, and see the steam flooding from under the door. She smiled and made her way to the bathroom. As she opened the door, the singing stopped. "Bo...Bo". No answer. "Bo". Again, no answer. The water was still running, she could hear it beating against the vinyl shower curtain. Nora stepped closer, grabbed the curtain, and pulled it back. Bo wasn't there. She began screaming, "Bo...Bo...Bo...!"
Nora, bolted straight in her bed, still screaming for Bo. It was then that she realized it was raining. She could hear the rain beating against the window above her bed. Bo was not here. This wasn't their house. Bo was a lifetime away.
As Nora lay back down, her heart beginning to slow the pace,
she rolled over. As a lone tear slowly rolled down her face, Nora
tried desperately to get back to sleep. Back to her dreams of
Bo and the life they once shared. Never in her life had Nora felt
so terribly alone.
