A CHANGE IN SEASONS (part 3)
Christmas morning at Bo and Nora's house.
It's around 7:00 am. Bo and Nora get up and head to the living rom.
Bo starts a fire and Nora starts the coffee.
She brings Bo some orange juice and they sit down next to the warm fire.
B: Guess what? There's a light snow
falling.
N: You're kidding (she gets up to look outside) Oh, it's beautiful
- how perfect. Merry Christmas Bo.
B: Merry Christmas Red. I love you. (they kiss)
N: I love you too.
B: What a great day this will be. Can we wake Matt up now?
N: (laughing) Let's let him sleep for awhile longer honey. This
is our time now.
B: OK. But I can't wait to see his face with all his toys.
N: (laughing again) Yes, he'll love all his gifts. It will be
a very special day for all of us.
B: I'd like to give you my gift now.
N: (smiling brightly) OK! OK!
B: Here you go. I hope you like it.
Nora slowly unwraps the black velvet box. She opens the box and her face lights up.
N: Oh Bo! It's absolutely beautiful!
Bo puts the necklace around her neck.
N: I love it. It's so special. Thank you. (she kisses him passionately)
N: Now for your gift!
Nora runs upstairs. She showers, changes into her special outfit, puts on Bo's favorite perfume, and fixes her hair.
Bo's waiting patiently downstairs.
B: Nora are you alright? What are
you doing?
N: I'm coming. Close your eyes first.
B: Why?
N: Just do it or I'm not coming down.
B: Alright, alright. Come on down. My eyes are closed.
Nora comes down the stairs. She puts on Nat King Cole's "The Christmas Song"....
"Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, jackfrost nippin' at your nose...."
She also lights some candles around the room.
B: Can I open my eyes now?
N: Yes.
Bo opens his eyes. Nora is standing there in her beautiful gown and she is holding mistletoe over her head.
B: Oh my god (Bo puts his hand to his heart) - Nora you look so beautiful.
He walks up to her and touches the necklace he gave her and then takes her face in his hands and kisses her.
B: I love you. Will you dance with
me?
N: I would love to.
They dance to the song in the middle of their living room.
N: So do you wanna unwrap me? I am
your Christmas gift you know!
B: It would take an army to keep me away from you.
He leads her to THE COUCH. Bo slowly removes Nora's robe and then her frilly slippers and then each velvet strap of the gown.
The gown falls gently off her soft body.
They make love to each other. Each gesture and word a present to the other.
As they lay in each other's arms their baby son's cries ring out into the morning.
Nora puts on her robe and gets Matthew.
N: Well, he's up - let's open his
gifts.
B: Great!
A CHANGE IN SEASONS (part 4)
Bo, Nora, and Matthew celebrated their first Christmas and Hannukah together and loved it.
Asa and Renee are getting the house ready for the wedding.
Caterers, decorators, florists, and musicians are in and out of the house all day long.
Bo is staying at the mansion for the few days before the wedding.
Rachel is staying with Nora and Matthew.
N: It's so much fun to have you here
Rachel.
R: I know Mom. I'm glad to spend this special time with you.
N: You know what - I need some help with writing my vows.
R: You want help from me? I think you can handle that mom. Just
say what you really fell inside.
N: Oh it's going to be so hard. There is so much I'm feeling right
now.
R: You can do it. I'm sure it will be a perfect day and party
and then you, Bo, and Matthew will have many milleniums ahead
to be together.
N: Hey - you'll be there too!
New Year's Eve/Wedding Day
The guests begin to gather for the wedding and party.
The ceremony begins at 4:00.
Bo, Asa, and Clint gather for pictures. Asa is so happy to have his family back he could burst.
Rev.Andrew: Well everyone, it's time to get started.
"Here Comes the Bride" begins to play and Nora's dad escorts her down the aisle. She looks lovely in an ivory colored dress. Bo is dressed in a tuxedo.
Rev.Andrew: We are gathered here today to REUNITE these two people in holy matrimony......
It's time to exchange the rings.
Nora is breathless at her new ring.
B: Look at the inscription.
N: Oh my god Bo! This is so funny!
B: What?
Nora gives Bo his ring.
N: Read your inscription.
B: Well, I guess great minds think alike!
Bo tells everyone that their inscriptions to each other were the same.
Rev.Andrew: Now Bo and Nora will exchange their vows.
N: Well, I first want to thank my family and friends who stuck by me through this past year. It has been one crazy time. It was a year of joy, happiness, and tremendous pain. But now I'm so happy. I would never have believed we would be here today. It seems like we were in the "Invasion of the Body Snatchers". I mean I swear someone took over my body. I became Pod Nora. The old Nora was gone. The best parts of myself were gone. Then one day, I woke up to face the truth of my life and the real Nora started to return. And I returned to the love of my life Bo and our son Matthew. I love you Bo and I will love you forever.
B: Nora, I know how you feel about the body snatchers thing. I especially feel that way about me. I seemed to have forgotten our whole life together. When I thought that you had caused me all the pain I suffered, I guess I locked out you and all our memories and love for each other. I was that hurt. I didn't seem to care about our past or anything that involved you. People would tell me things about you and your new life and I wasn't affected. Then the truth hits me smack in the face, in my gut, and in my heart. Then thankfully - miraculously, the real Bo came back. I woke up. I saw this beautiful woman with red hair and shining eyes and all of a sudden it hit me - what I had lost and what I was about to gain. I gained a wife and a son again. I love you Nora and Matthew and Happy New Year!
Bo and Nora kiss passionately. Bo wipes away Nora's tears.
Everyone in the room claps and cheers.
"My Girl" begins to play and Bo and Nora take to the dance floor.
The crowd watches them. Asa stands proudly holding baby Matthew (who is wearing a little baby tuxedo).
Asa: Well folks, I knew it would happen. These two have so much love it can't be stopped. Happy New Year!
