- The Date
-
- Bo cant believe how
nervous he is. How can that be? Hes known this woman for
more than 10 years. Yet here he was
.stomach in knots, palms
sweating, trying to figure out what to wear. This was ridiculous
it
was only a date. But was it??
-
- Nora sat before the mirror
checking and rechecking her hair and her makeup. Where are all
these butterflies coming from? This was just dinner with Bo
.a
man that shes known for what seems like forever. Theyd
been going out for a couple of weeks. She should be used to it
by now. But tonight was different.
-
- Hi was all he
could manage to get out of his mouth when he saw how wonderful
she looked. How does she do that? Just looking at her makes him
forget everything that was on his mind. You look great
she said as he kissed her gently. The things he does to her
.
-
- He takes her hand in his
and leads her to the car. He helps her in and then slides into
the drivers seat. They look at each other sheepishly and
try to make small talk on the way to dinner. They talk about
work
they talk about Matthew. Nothing too heavy
.giving
their minds plenty of time to wander. They arrive at the Palace
and get a table on the terrace. They are soon enveloped in their
own little world. The rest of the place doesnt exist. Its
only the two of them.
-
- Wanna dance?
he says as he puts his napkin on his plate. Of course
she says even though shes not sure her legs will hold her
once he puts his hand in hers and pulls her closer. Bo draws
Nora to him and soon they have melted together as one. They move
around the terrace oblivious to the world around them. This has
been the moment theyve waited for for years.
-
- I love you Bo
whispers into Noras ear. Tears immediately form in her
eyes. How long has she waited to hear that from him again? I
love you too Bo. They knew then and there that they would
never be apart again.
