The Wedding that Lasts forever

(Nora and Bo just had a second paternity test done on Matthew, and they came back saying that Matthew’s father was really Bo. RJ said something on the stand that made them reconsider the original test.)

Nora was in her office, working on her closing argument for Bo’s defense case. Bo walked in.

Bo: Hi Nora, how are you doing? I wanted to know if it was ok for me to see Matthew.

Nora: Of course Bo, you can see you son, I’m not going to keep you away from him.

Bo: I just wanted to see you too. Nora, let me ask you something, do you think there will ever be another chance for us?

Nora: Oh Bo, I don’t know, I would love for it to happen, but I don’t want to do this just for Matthew, I know that he needs both of his parents, but if we are not married, I know that we will have a connection because of Matthew.

Bo: I’m not asking this because of Matthew. I’m asking you because I love you, and I don’t want to spend another day without you. It unfortunately too long for me too finally figure that out Nora.

Nora: Bo, I don’t know what you want me to say, yes I still love you, but so much has happened, I don’t even know you anymore Bo.

Bo: Hey, can we have dinner tonight at the Palace? Just you and me you need a break from work, and I could use the company.

Nora: Ok, I guess we can go to dinner tonight, but remember Bo, it’s just dinner.

Bo: Great, I’ll pick you up at 7. I’m gonna go give my son a big kiss now.

Later…

Nora was trying to decide what to wear she’d tried on every outfit she owned.
Nora: Get it together Buchanan…It’s just Bo.
Bo was really excited, and nervous about his date with Nora.

Nora was giving Matthew a bottle and Bo rang the doorbell,
Nora: Right on time huh Buchanan, Matthew guess what daddy’s here, daddy’s come to take mommy on a date.

Bo: Red, are you here?

Nora: Come on in Bo, it’s open, I’m in here with Matthew.

Bo: Wow Red, you look great. Hey buddy, doesn’t your mom look great?

Nora: Well I think we should be going now, you think? Why don’t you give your son a kiss goodbye.

Bo: Hey Slugger, I’m going to take your mom out, I thought she needed a date, what do say?
Matthew smiled at Bo. Bye Matthew, be good for Mary Ann.

Nora: MaryAnn, you know how to get in touch with us.

MaryAnn: Yes, Ms. Buchanan, every thing will be fine, just go out and have fun with Mr. Buchanan

Nora: Ok. Bye

Bo: Bye MaryAnn.

At the Palace…

Nora and Bo arrived at the Palace, Asa and Renee` were there, and Asa was glad to see his son with a smile on his face again. Bo and Nora ate; talked, and danced just enjoying each other’s company. Nora was having a very nice time. Bo was glad to be spending time with Nora. Their date was over, and they went back to Nora’s place. Bo didn’t want to the date to end, and neither did Nora, but they made a decision that it would be best for now, to just say goodnight. Nora walked Bo to the door, and he gave her a kiss goodnight, Nora happily returned Bo’s kiss.

The next day, Nora and Bo had to be in court, Bo couldn’t help but think of his date last night with Nora. Nora had presented another excellent final argument, and the judge had to decide If Bo was guilty of police brutality or not. The court went to recess until the judge made the decision. It's around noon.

Bo: Nora, did you have fun last night.

Nora: Bo, I had a wonderful time, I can’t wait for our next date.

Bo: Next date? What makes you think there is going to be another date?

Nora: (laughs) Funny Buchanan, what, you think you are a comedian now?

Bo: (laughs) How about dancing at Crossroads tonight? To celebrate.

Nora: Celebrate? What are we celebrating?

Bo: The best lawyer in Llanview got me my job back, and I now have a son, and the most beautiful woman I could ever want.

Nora: Bo, the judge hasn’t come back with her decision yet. We still don’t know anything.

Bo: I know but I am very confident, hey if you can’t do it, nobody can.

Nora: Dancing that sounds great. Why Crossroads?

Bo: I thought I should pay my newly found brother a visit.

Nora: Ok, sounds great to me. Hey, look at the time, why don’t we go home and see our son?

Bo: Best idea I’ve heard all day.

Nora: Let’s blow this Popsicle stand, I’m meet you at the house.

Bo: See you in a few Red. (Gives her a kiss)

At the house, Nora is working, and Bo is playing with Matthew.
Nora looks at the time, hey Buchanan, if we are going to Crossroads, I think we should get ready.
Bo and Nora leave and go to Crossroads.

Vicki: Nora, Bo, I’m glad you could come tonight. Tonight we have a special guest at
Crossroads; it’s so ironic that you decided to come here tonight.

Bo: Well, I thought I should come and check out the little brother’s place.

Nora: Nice to see you Vicky.

Ben: Bo, Nora well, this is a surprise to see you two here, together.

Nora: Hello Ben, how are you?

Ben: Excuse me everyone, it’s time to bring out our special guest. I want to say welcome to Llanview, Little Richard!

Bo and Nora look at each other surprised,

Nora: Bo did know about this?

Bo: No, I swear I had no clue.
Little Richard started singing "Tutti Frutti" after he finished, he then said.
Little Richard: Llanview, it seems like I have been here before. Wait I know, I was here for a wedding I know, it was a wedding for the Police Commissioner and a lawyer, they didn’t want to get married, but they decided, because they loved each other very much. I wonder where are they at, what happened? Whereever you are, this song is for you. “Send Me Some Loving”.
Bo and Nora got up, and decided to dance.

Nora: Bo he was talking about us, how are we going to tell Little Richard that we got divorced?

Bo: Hmmm… I have an idea. I need to go talked to Little Richard, after I finish dancing with you of course.

Nora: Bo, what are you thinking?

Bo: You’ll see; only time will tell.

The song ended, and Little Richard decided to take a break, Bo found that the perfect opportunity to talk to Little Richard.

Nora walked over to Vicky.

Vicky: Hello, Nora how are things going?

Nora: Things are going good, really good.

Vicky: Well that’s good to hear.

Bo found Little Richard, and explained the current problems between him and Nora.
Bo asked him for a favor, and he told him he’d gladly do it for him.

Little Richard comes back out on stage, and says that he had just had a talk with someone, and he was going to turn the microphone over to Bo. He had a request to ask

Bo: Hello everyone, I know that this is sudden, and very unexpectant, but I feel like I have to do this, right now or never. Honey, can you join me up here please? Shyly Nora walked up to the stage. Bo then proceeded. Nora, I want you to know that I love you a lot, and I cannot live my life without you.

Nora: Bo, what are you saying?

Bo: Nora I want to know if you will marry me, tonight right now?

Nora: Oh, Bo, I don’t know what to say.

Bo: Just answer me.

Nora: I…I--Yes! Yes! Yes! I will marry you.

Little Richard: I think we should get started, Nora Hannon Gannon Buchanan, do you take Bo Buchanan to be your husband to love forever, until death do you part?

Nora: I do!

Little Richard: Bo do you take Nora Buchanan to be you wife again?

Bo: Of Course I do!

Then he played "Good Golly Miss Molly"

Lindsay and Sam walked into the bar as Little Richard was pronouncing Bo and Nora husband and wife.

Lindsay to Ben: What is going on here?

Ben: A wedding, my brother just married Nora. So she’s my sister-in-law anyway, funny how that works out huh
Sam?

Sam: Yeah, whatever, Lindsay, lets go.

Bo and Nora go home, Rachel showed up, Nora wondered if this day could get any better, and then the telephone rang. It was the Judge, the verdict was in. She wanted to see them first thing in the morning.

Nora: Bo, that was the judge, we have to go to court tomorrow morning the verdict is in.

Rachel opened the door, and came in.
