N is writing a letter to B- she drops her engagement ring in the envelope and seals it.
Ben: (enters) Okay, lawyer. Magic time.
N: Ooh, magic. Are you and Dr. Dowling going to saw someone in half? Anyone I know?
Ben: How about it? Finagled that tough reservation just for you- got the perfect table. You ready to get prepped?
N: I need you to do something for me, Ben. Just in case I…Just in case. (gives him envelope)

B: (on phone) Mrs. Hanen, hi, it’s Bo.
S: Oh, yes, oh, Bo. I wasn’t expecting your call.
B: Well, it’s going to be hard not to make a pest out of myself with Nora being back there. I didn’t wake him, did I?ep S: Who?
B: Mr. Hanen, Leonard. I hope I didn’t wake him, how’s he feeling, any…
S: Oh, oh, better! Len’s much better, leaps and bounds.
B: Well, great. All his tests came out all right, huh?
S: Tests? Oh, yes, yes, just fine.
B: Well, good, I guess that means that Nora will be heading back pretty soon.
S: Yes, I certainly hope so.
B: Well, good. Is she there?
S: No…
B: Can I talk to her?
S: No, you can’t. I mean, she can’t. Not just now. I’m sure you understand.

N: I know you’ll do your best, Dr. Price, and I know that Dr. Dowling is the best, just…I’m a professional, you’re a professional- I don’t like loose ends.
Ben: Nothing like a vote of confidence.
N: If I don’t make it, I need to be sure that Bo understands why I didn’t tell him, that it wasn’t about trust.
Ben: Isn’t it?
N: No, it’s about…(catch in her voice) it’s about loving someone so much and wanting them to be happy. It’s that the last look you have…
Ben: Nora, you have a lot of people that…
N: You know, you have never pulled punches before, and I don’t really want you to start pulling them now, okay? It’s the one thing I’ve always liked about you, Dr. Price- you’re a professional. Uh, my engagement ring is in there- it’s really important he gets it.
R: (enters) Mom?
Ben: No visitors right now, Rachel. I’m sorry.
R: I just want to see her for a minute.
Ben: No, your mother’s just about to get prepped for surgery, and Dowling’s on a schedule. And you know me, I play by the book, remember? All business, no heart.
R: Fine.
N: Don’t worry, Rachel. I’ll see you later, okay? And you be nice to Ben, he’s such a nice guy, and he’s a doctor! I love you. Rachel?
R: I love you too, mom.
N: Thank you. Ben: Now, are we ready? H: (in hall) Hello, Rachel.
R: Daddy…(hugs him)
H: Hey, hey, what’s going on, baby? Is she…
R: She’s fine, she’s fine. They haven’t even started yet.
H: Good. Is there somebody in there with her?
R: Yeah, Ben. You know, your best buddy Ben?
H: Come on, baby, now, look, he’s in there to help her.
R: I know, I know, I just feel so…
H: I know, I know, Rachel. But we’ve done everything we can. For now. Look, baby, you talked her into having the operation, and we got her to wake up to what she was doing with Bo. And at least she told him about the surgery.
R: Yeah. AT least she did that.
H: Yeah. Listen, speaking of Bo, have you seen him? Where is he?

B: Mrs. Hanen- Selma- is something wrong? I mean, you’re not holding out on me, though, are you?
S: Honestly, Bo- everything is just fine here. I’ll tell Nora you called just as soon as she gets back from- from wherever it is that she went. Oh, you know Nora- she’s always been this way. Very independent, very secretive, very stubborn, and, uh,- all right, Len! Bo.
B: No, it’s okay, okay. I don’t want to keep you, just give Mr. Hanen my best and I won’t worry anymore, okay? And give Nora my love. Bye.

D: All right, nurse. You can prepared the incision site anytime. That’s if Nora doesn’t mind.
N: Even if she does. I mean, not that I’m not grateful.
D: You’re nervous. I understand.
N: You know, it really has nothing to do with you, Dr. Dowling, I mean, I really, to be perfectly honest, I haven’t really given your part of this a second thought, it’s just that I, you know how you get with a new haircut when you go to a new salon, you know? Do you do nails?
D: Yes, you were right, Ben, she is.
N: She is what? What, what, what?
D: A pleasure. Nora, next time I see you is going to be in the recovery room, it gives you plenty of time to work on your material, I’m going to expect a belly laugh.
N: And I’m going to expect to see you.
D: Everything’s going to be fine. Tell her, Ben.
Ben: Mmhm.
N: Yeah, tell her, Ben. So? Have you and Dr. Dowling been throwing back some beers at breakfast.
Ben: Oh, no. We just wait until the very last second, right before the operation.
N: (laughs) You will be careful, won’t you, Ben, when you’re cutting me, you know? Just leave enough up top so I remember how to sue you!
Ben: Now, Nora, you have nothing to worry about. You can relax. I’ll be assisting. And besides, Dr. Dowling’s as conservative as they come. In fact, in my opinion, he could stand to take a few more risks from time to time.
N: Take it from me, Ben, you know, in my opinion, when it comes to fooling around inside somebody’s head, conservative is the name of the game.
Ben: Mmhm. She’s all yours, nurse. You know what to do. Sinead O’Connor.
N: Very funny.
Ben: No, maam! I’m on the job.
N: Ben?
Ben: I won’t be long. (leaves- nurse shaves the part of her head)
R: Ben. You will be careful, won’t you, when you do the cutting?
Ben: My, oh my, oh my. She must be her daughter, because she just said the same exact…
H: Ben, Ben. Will she be all right?
Ben: We’ll be careful. That’s a promise. Dr. Dowling’s the best. Trust him. (leaves)

Cord: Bo, is there something wrong?
B: Yeah. Well, no, not really, I just…I haven’t been able to get Nora on the phone. She’s visiting her folks in Chicago, and every time I call, she’s either busy, or she’s out, or something, anyway, last night, I get a call here. Now, everybody that I know that would call me here, they’re already here- except Nora. Now, when I pick up the phone, say hello, whoever it was just hung up.
C: Look, I don’t know what’s going on with Nora, but as far as the phone is concerned, Bo, that could be anybody, you know how people are these days.
B: Yeah. Well, maybe I’m just making a mountain out of a mole hill, but I’d feel a whole lot better if I could just talk to Nora.

Nora is all prepped.
R: Mom?
N: Well, it’s about time.
R: Everything’s going to be just fine, I know.
N: You do? Well, I’m glad someone around here knows. I’ve been looking for a guarantee, and no one’s been giving me one. You got a great bedside manner, kid.
R: Yeah, well, my mom taught me everything I know. She did a heck of a job, didn’t she?
N: Well, look what she had to work with.
R: I’m sorry Bo didn’t get here in time.
N: What?
R: To wish you well.
N: Oh, yeah, that would have been nice.
R: Oh, mom, you did tell Bo, didn’t you? He knows what’s going on, you promised to tell him.
Ben: (enters) Nora. (she is drifting)
R: Mom…
Ben: Hi, lawyer. You just be strong.
N: Okay…
Ben: Like I told you. And you, you be strong too. Or else you’re going to answer to her.
R: Right.
N: You bet right.
R: Love you. I love you.
N: I love you. Go on, we’ve got some work to do.
H: Rikki, baby…(hugs her)
R: She has to be fine, daddy. She has to be fine.

Nora is on the table.
D: All right, doctors. Vital signs are strong, nice and steady. No time like the present. Scalpel.

H and R are waiting, she is drumming her nails.
H: Rikki!
R: I know, I know, I know, I’m sorry. I’m doing it again, I’m sorry.
H: Look, Rachel.
R: Look, I just, I hope she understands that I had to tell you, you know? I know I promised that I wouldn’t, but I had to…
H: Come on, baby, look, you did the right thing. And your mother knows that, she hasn’t given it a second thought. So let it go, all right?
R: Yeah. Yeah. You know, I’m just worried about all the little things, you know, that I did or didn’t do or should have done…
H: Rachel, baby, believe me, there is nothing your mother hasn’t forgiven us for. That’s just who she is. Hey, she forgave me for brow beating her into telling Bo the news.
R: Why isn’t he here?
H: Knowing your mother, she probably made him promise not to come down. That’s Nora. Look, baby, you know, waiting around here is not doing either one of any good. What do you say…
R: No, no, no, no, I’m not leaving the hospital.
H: No, no, no, listen, we’ll just go to the cafeteria, all right? Nobody’s leaving the building. Just for a little while. Hey, I’ll buy you a cup of coffee, decaf. (they start to go)

V has asked B to pick up Cassie’s flowers. B walks into the hospital and runs into a nurse.
B: Excuse me, I’m, excuse me.
Nurse: Can I help you?
B: No, I’m just on my way to maternity to pick up some flowers.
Nurse: Okay, once you leave neurology, just make a left and follow the signs.
B: Yeah, okay, thank you, I know that, I’ve been here, thank you.
R: (spotting him) Bo! Bo.
B: Hey! Rachel, Hank!
R: Bo, I am so glad to see you.
H: Yeah, that makes two of us.
B: Well, then that makes three of us. I’m glad to see you guys to.
H: Yeah. (to R) Look, I told you he’d be here. How could he not be?
B: Right. What are you talking about?
R: What?
B: I mean, well, you said, ‘How could I not be here?’, I mean, I wasn’t even expecting to be here.
H: You weren’t?
B: No. What are you guys doing here?
R: What are we doing here?
B: Yeah, just like I said, what are you doing here? Hank, Rachel, why do you- okay, look, come on. What’s going on?

November 30, 1993

B: What are you doing here? I thought you’d be at Max and Luna’s wedding.
H: Yeah, well, Bo, we’ll be there, we just had to…
B: Nobody is sick, are they?

Nora is in the operating room.
D: Can I get some better light here? No, higher. Higher. Much better. Okay. There’s the tumor. And as you can see, it’s pretty well wrapped around the optic nerve.

B: Come on, you guys, what’s going on?
H: Hey, look, we heard about Andrew and Cassie losing the baby, so we just thought…
R: We just wanted to come by and say how sorry we were.
H: Yeah.
B: Oh. I know they would appreciate that, but Cassie’s already checked out.
H: Yeah, yeah, we just found that out.
R: So, what are you doing here, Bo?
B: Well, when Andrew took Cassie home, they must have left a ton of flowers here, so Viki asked me to bring them over to Serenity Springs.
R: That’s sweet, it’s really thoughtful, considering, you know…
B: Yeah. Have you two talked to Nora lately? She’s really hard to get a hold of, isn’t she?
H: Yeah, well, Bo, if you plan on marrying the lady, you better get used to that, huh?
B: Any news on her dad?
H: Lenny? Yeah, Leonard, he’s doing much better, right, Rachel?
R: Yeah, I talked to my mom this morning, and she said that he, my grandad’s doing fine, just fine.
B: Yeah, I talked to Nora’s mom and she said the same thing earlier. So I guess everything’s going to work out, huh?
R: Yeah, I guess so.
B: That’s good, because then Nora will be back home soon.
H: Yeah.
B: Well, I’ve got to get going, I’ll see you two at the ceremony.
H: Yeah, you bet.
R: See you, Bo. (he leaves)
H: Man, and Nora swore up and down that she’d tell him the truth.
R: She obviously never told him she was in the hospital at all.
H: Yeah. Let alone what’s really going on.
In operating room.

D: How’s she doing?
Assistant: Vital signs all stable.
D: We may be here a while, is she up for it?
A: As far as I can she, she’s doing fine.
D: Good. Starting excision of the tumor. Now, it’s this section here that concerns me. We’ve got to get the tumor cleared away without hitting the optic nerve. It looks like that’s going to be more difficult than I thought. But, here we go.

R: How could mom leave us holding the bag like this?
H: Look, baby, like it or not, we’ve got to live with it.
R: I don’t want to have to lie for her, it’s hard enough to deal with without…
H: Rachel, listen, baby, nothing has been good news, from the time she found out about this tumor all the way down the line to her hiding it from Bo. But baby, it’s her call on how she’s going to tell him, and when.
R: And meanwhile, we’re the ones that have to…
H: We have to cover for her, yeah. But she’s the one who’s under the knife, and if that’s the way she wants it, well, that’s the way it’s going to be.
R: And what about Bo?
H: Well, Bo, he’s not going to like it one bit. He’s probably going to want to come after us, and I guarantee you, he’s going to have a few choice words for your mother.
R: Assuming that we ever get to talk to her again.
H: Come on, come on, baby, now, you just hold on here, ll right? Look, we both know one thing about your mother- she’s a tough lady, right?
R: Yeah. Remember how she used to always laugh at us when we got colds, because you were always taking those vitamins, and you made me take them.
H: Yeah, yeah, and she wouldn’t take them, and she would never catch a cold. She’s one incredible woman, that mother of yours.
R: Yeah.
H: Yeah.
R: I always wanted her to get a cold, just so I could, you know, laugh at her.
H: Look, Rikki, baby, we’ll laugh again. No, we will. In fact, you want to know something? I cannot wait for her to come through this just so I can tell her how dumb it was.
R: Not telling Bo?
H: You’re damn right. She’s going to hear from me.
R: Yeah. For the first time in my life, I’m praying for the chance to hear you two argue again. (they hug) Oh, daddy.
H: Yeah. (Ben comes in) Hey, hey, Ben. How’s Nora? Has she come through it all right?

Selma: She’s not here, Bo. She’s, uh, next door, uh, visiting her old boyfriend, Nathan Zimmerman.
B: Well, should I be insanely jealous?
S: His wife doesn’t seem to think so.
B: How is your husband, Mrs. Hanen?
S: Oh, well, the doctor gave my Lenny a clean bill of health. She said all our concern was for nothing.
B: Then you and Nora ought to be relieved, huh?
S: I, uh, I don’t want to be rude, Bo, but, uh, I have to see to things for the dinner. I’ll speak to you very soon. Bye now. (hangs up)

B: Renee. Chicago is an hour earlier, is that right?
R: Yeah, yeah, yeah, an hour earlier.
B: Dinner?

Ben: Nora did just great. She’s still in recovery, but they’ll be bringing her back up to ICU soon.
R: Will she be conscious yet?
Ben: No, definitely not.
H: But she is okay?
Ben: She’s okay, Hank. You can breathe again.
R: What about her sight, will she get it back again?
Ben: We won’t know about that until she’s fully conscious.
H: Yeah, and how soon will that be?
Ben: Not for quite a while. Now, why don’t you two go get a bite to eat, huh? Look, wait a second. Sheila told me she was going to a wedding, a friend of hers, right before her shift starts.
H: Yeah.
Ben: Now, if I’m correct, aren’t you two supposed to be there?
H: Uh, yeah, yeah, Ben, but we want to stick around and wait to see Nora.
Ben: Go to the wedding, huh? She’s going to be out for hours. Now, I’ve got to get back with Dr. Dowling, but I just wanted to be the one to give you the good news.
H: Thanks, young blood.
R: Yeah, thank you for everything.
Ben: I’m glad I could help. She’s a fine lady. (leaves)
R falls in H’s arms.
H: Are you crying again?
R: Oh, God, I never stop. Oh, she’s going to be okay!
H: Yeah, yeah, baby, that’s the word, so far.
R: Yeah, so far.
H: Listen, why don’t you go on to the wedding, all right?
R: No.
H: Come on, come on, listen, I’m sure Kevin is probably worried about you, and I’ll bet you anything that Bo’s got an eye out for you.
R: You’re right, I should go. But it will be awful being around Bo and having to keep this from him.
H: Yeah, baby, I know.
R: Look, mom is out of surgery, okay, why can’t we just tell him now?
H: Because that’s not the way she wants it.
R: But that’s the way it should be.
H: Rachel, baby, listen, go to the wedding and just try to enjoy yourself. I’ll stick around here and just wait in case anything comes up.
R: You will let me know the minute she wakes up.
H: Oh, baby, the second.
R: Okay. (hugs him)
H goes into N’s room. He holds her hand.
H: Hello, baby. Rough day, huh? Well, you get all the rest you need. And you better come through with those peepers in great shape, because I want you to see me real good when I tell you a few things, young lady. (kisses her hand) Nora, baby, how long are you going to keep this game up, huh? You are running from Bo the same as you ran from me. Why do you always have to do everything alone? Baby, would it be so terrible for you to need someone to lean on once in a while? Well, I’ll tell you what. You’d better learn how to do it, because now is the time. Now is the time, baby.

K: Hey, Uncle Bo.
B: Hi, Kev. Rachel, did you talk to your mother again?
R: Uh, no.
B: I just had a weird conversation with your Grandma Selma.
R: Weird, how?
B: She just sounded a little bit off, you know.
R: Well, she’s probably distracted, you know, by…
B: No, no, no, no- Leonard is doing just fine. Then she came up with some bizarre explanation of where Nora was, and hustled me off the phone like her house was on fire.
R: That’s funny.
B: Is something going on that your mother’s not telling me about?
R: There’s Sheila, I have to say hi to her before she has to go back to the hospital, okay? Excuse me.
K: Yeah.
S: Hi, honey, how are you?
K: So what’s the matter, then?
B: I hope it’s a quick ceremony so I can get on the next plane to Chicago.
K: Well, you miss that Nora, don’t you?
B: Let me put it this way, Kev. If Rachel took off for Chicago and left you and then you couldn’t get her on the phone, how would that make you feel?
K: Got you. Sounds to me like you should be the one that catches the garter today. Come on, you’re going to be with her in a couple of hours.
B: I hope so. But something is not right here.
K: About what?
B: This whole Chicago thing. You know, I try to be polite to Nora’s mother on the phone, but something’s just not right.
K: What, are you saying that Nora’s mother is lying to you?
B: I don’t know. Maybe she just doesn’t like the idea of us being engaged.
K: Is she being hostile?
B: No, no, she’s nice enough, she’s just so nervous, you know? Has Rachel mentioned anything to you?
K: No, just that Nora was going to Chicago. Well, actually, she didn’t really want to talk about it.
B: Yeah, yeah, that’s the impression that I got, too.

December 1, 1993

K: Nervous?
B: What?
K: Well, the way you’re pacing around here, you’d think you’re the groom.
B: Oh, it’s Nora, I just- I keep wondering why I can’t get in touch with her.
K: We make quite a pair here- Nora’s in Chicago, and Rachel is- who knows where Rachel is.

R: (on phone) Daddy?
H: Listen, sweetheart, I can’t stay on the line, they want me out of here so they can redress your mother and check on some things.
R: Something’s wrong, come on, tell me.
H: No, no, baby, nothing’s wrong. Your mother still hasn’t opened her eyes. But, her vital signs look good. Listen, baby, I really have to go, and don’t you have a wedding to attend?
R: It hasn’t started yet, though, and- well, I’ll call you when the ceremony’s over, okay?
H: All right, well, look, don’t worry about a thing. Your mother’s in good hands. I want you to send my love to Max and Luna- just tell them that work kept me, okay?
R: I will. Daddy, I’m glad you’re with her. Bye.
H: I love you.
B: Rachel, is there some kind of problem?
R: Bo, don’t be such a worrywart, okay? Everything is fine, really.
B: Are you sure? Is there something you need to tell me?
K: (comes up) There you are! I have been looking all over for you. What, is something wrong?
R: No, of course not.
K: Well, if we don’t take our seats, we’re going to miss this, so what do you say? (they sit down)

Hank is sitting at Nora’s side. Sheila walks in.
H: Hey, shouldn’t you be attending a wedding?
S: Well, it still hadn’t started when I had to get back here. Listen, why don’t you go on ahead, and I’ll stay with Nora. Hank, it doesn’t make any sense for us to both miss a great wedding, come on. I know Luna and Max would love to see you at the reception.
H: Baby, I’d only be thinking about Nora. I mean, lying here, so helpless- it’s hard to see her that way.
S: I must be crazy.
H: Why?
S: Because I admire you for being here when I probably should be jealous as the devil. (H kisses her) Aren't you going to say something?
H: Yes. Yeah, you’re right.
S: That’s not what you’re supposed to say, Hank Gannon.
H: What do you think? (kiss)
S: I think you still have a lot of love for her.
H: This is true.
S: And maybe, just maybe, I love you for it. As long as you have plenty of love for me, and I mean oodles of it.
H: Oodles, and oodles, baby.
S: Great. Then let me help, listen- at least go to the reception. I mean, I know Rachel would love to see you there, she’s got to be worried sick about her mother.
H: Yeah, yeah, well, Rachel called again.
S: See what I mean?
H: It wasn’t so much about Nora that she was worried, I don’t- she’s having a hard time keeping Bo from knowing about the operation. I could hear it in her voice, and it’s just- it’s not easy. (hugs her)

During wedding, Rachel is crying and holding the spoon.
B: That’s Nora’s grandmother’s spoon, isn’t it?
R: Yeah, she gave it to me.
B: She said she’d never part with that until the day she died. That’s funny.

December 2, 1993

B: Rachel, can I ask you something?
R: You know, we were just about…
K: Oh no, hey, no, that’s okay. Bo, you take your time. I really didn’t want you kissing Max anyway. Don’t wait up. (leaves)
B: Something’s wrong, isn’t it?
R: Look, I told you-
B: No, I know what you told me, but I can’t shake the feeling that something’s happened to your mother. Now, you talked to Nora when she was in Chicago.
R: Uh huh.
B: And she sounded okay?
R: She sounded like mom.
B: Rachel, let’s not play games, okay? We both know that your mother has a tendency to pull back into her shell when things get bad. She does that to protect everybody else. I don’t need protecting.
K: Rachel, it’s a wedding, you’re supposed to have fun, drink champagne, dance, maybe smile?
R: I’m sorry, Kevin.
K: What’s the matter?
R: Nothing, you know, weddings just make me emotional.

B: (on phone) I hate to keep pestering you, Selma, but I’m getting bad vibes from a lot of different people: Hank, Rachel, you. Now, if something’s happened to your daughter, you have to tell me.
S: Don’t you think I would if I could?
B: Well, why can’t you? Who’s stopping you? I need the truth, Selma. Is she or is she not in Chicago? Come on, it’s a simple question. Either she is there or…
S: All right. All right. I told her I was lousy at this, but she wouldn’t listen. Well, no more. I’m sorry, Bo, but everything I’ve told you is a lie.
B: I need to know what she told you, Selma.
S: I didn’t exactly believe her. I know my little girl, even though she’s now a big lawyer with a grown daughter. It just didn’t add up.
B: What didn’t?
S: She told me that you were moving too fast.
B: Too fast?
S: She said after the two of you got engaged, she said it would be a long one, years and years, and now you were pushing it. I told her that, ‘That doesn’t sound like the man you’ve told me about, that doesn’t sound like Bo.’
B: Because that’s not me.
S: And then she asked me to lie for her if you called, to tell you that she was here with her dad and me in Chicago.
B: But she isn’t?
S: No. No, I’m sorry, Bo. Oh, I did my best to help her, but…
B: No, no, no, that’s okay, Selma, I’m not angry, I just needed the truth. If she’s not in Chicago, where is she?
S: That’s the strangest thing of all. She wouldn’t tell me.

B: Thought you’d be dancing up a storm by now, Kev.
K: Well, I tried, but the lady had other ideas.
B: I don’t see Rachel dancing with anyone.
K: No, I don’t see Rachel period. Tell me something, Bo. Is is me, or does it mean something when the woman in your life keeps pulling a disappearing act on you?
B: I was hoping you could tell me that.
K: About Nora. Well, I’m starting to feel the same way about Rachel. Something’s going on with her, there’s something she’s not telling me, Bo.
R: (on phone) Daddy, how is she? What do you mean, no change? She has to wake up. No, no, look, I’m not getting emotional on you, I just need to know if…All right. All right, just as long as she’s asleep. Look, as soon as I can, I’m going to get away from here and I’m going to come to the hospital, okay? Daddy, keep the faith.
K: What’s with the bride?
R: I don’t know, but she’s not the only one that’s got to leave. Bye.
B: Where is she, Rachel?

Jessi: Kevin, I have to show you something. (K leaves)
R: Bo, I’m sorry, but I have to go.
B: Where, huh? To your mother?
R: Bo, please…
B: Rachel, I know she’s not in Chicago. Now, you’re not going anywhere until I get some answers.
R: Bo, I’ve got to go back inside, Kevin’s going to worry.
B: Let him join the club. I just got off the phone with Selma, Rachel. She’s just about as bad a liar as you are.
R: Bo, please.
B: Now, come on, honey, look, I know when I’m being stonewalled. Selma told me that Nora is not in Chicago, she just had to get away from me, because I’m moving too fast, I’m putting too much pressure on her about a wedding date.
R: Well, you know, Bo, if that’s what mom says, then you just have to accept it. I mean, you know how she gets when she’s losing control of a situation.
B: That’s a lot of bull, honey, and you know it. I’m not pressuring her, she’s not losing control of anything, she is more loving and caring towards me every day. But for the past few days, she’s needed me more than ever, and you know why, don’t you?
R: Bo, I’m sorry…
B: Rachel, I love your mother more than anything, and I want to talk to her, because I want to help her through whatever it is that made her just take off, but I can’t do that until I find her. Now, you’re the only person who can tell me where she is. If you love her as much as I do…
R: Of course I love her. I love her so much I lied for her, and I can’t do it any more, I… All right. All right. You want to know the truth, I’ll tell you what’s really happened to her.
